1. Rinse before first use— Clean the reservoir, tray, and gooseneck with clear water before filling the fountain for the first time.

Does the fountain need to stay plugged in?

Yes. It does not have a battery and operates via a 5 V / 1 A USB power supply. The sensor stops the pump when no presence is detected, but the fountain must remain plugged in to restart automatically when your pet approaches.

How often should the filter be replaced?

The supplier recommends replacing the filter approximately once a month. This frequency can be adjusted depending on the number of animals, the water quality, and the visible presence of hair or deposits. A lower flow rate may also indicate that a replacement or cleaning is necessary.
